Associate Creative Director

In this role, you will:

  • Lead N26’s brand and marketing design efforts across all channels, shaping compelling campaigns that elevate brand awareness and engagement.
  • Drive the creative direction of brand and product marketing campaigns, ensuring strategic alignment and visual impact.
  • Develop and refine scalable design systems that maintain brand consistency across all digital and offline touchpoints.
  • Transform business and user insights into visually stunning, intuitive, and high-performing creative assets.
  • Set and uphold a world-class design standard, ensuring every brand expression aligns with N26’s identity and marketing objectives.
  • Foster collaboration between brand, marketing, and product design teams to create cohesive and memorable brand experiences.
  • Optimize creative workflows and design processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and execution quality.
  • Manage multiple high-visibility projects, balancing strategic priorities while maintaining creative excellence.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, integrating innovative design thinking into N26’s brand campaigns.
  • Champion best practices in Figma and other design tools, driving efficiency and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and design excellence.
  • Empower the Creative Studio with knowledge-sharing, best practices, and design leadership to elevate brand storytelling and impact.

What you need to be successful:
Background:

  • 7+ years of brand design experience (agency/client side).
  • Extensive experience working on global consumer brands.
  • Best in class conceptual and design craft skills.

Skills

  • Proven ability to create functional and impactful designs across multiple platforms (OOH, Social, Content, Performance, Lifecycle).
  • Strong conceptual skills, with a focus on meaningful innovation in design.
  • Expertise in Figma, including utilising figma for automation and production at scale.
  • Experience working with global brands and international creative teams on integrated campaigns.
  • Exceptional asset management and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in an advertising agency is preferred. Experience with lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
  • Ability to function independently while also excelling as a collaborator.
  • Capacity to work efficiently at high speeds without compromising quality.
  • Ability to lead teams, mentor junior designers, and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • A compelling reel showcasing previous work.
  • Fluency in English
