Back-End Developer (m/f/d) Smart Building

Responsibilities/Tasks
Design and realize end-to-end features of our data and application platform
Develop RESTful and GraphQL microservices utilizing protocols such as HTTP, WebSockets or MQTT.
Implement scalable and reliable backend services, primarily deployed on Kubernetes, using open-source technologies and state-of-the-art libraries.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to evolve platform design and to ensure consistency, reliability, performance and scalability.
Drive the complete lifecycle of backend services, encompassing requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.

Your Profile

Extensive experience in backend development within microservice architectures
Proficient in at least two programming languages and their ecosystems, such as C# .NET, JVM-based languages (Java, Scala, Kotlin), Node.js, or Python.
Skilled with cloud computing and more than 3 of years experience in implementing and managing services for data and stream processing
Deeply familiar with design and coding principles, with confidence in test-driven and domain-driven development.
Experienced in leveraging service-oriented patterns to address challenges in data streaming, processing, analysis, persistence, and security.
Confident with usual DevOps practices and agile development
Open-minded team player with excellent communication skills in English or German (optional)
