Dispatcher (m/f/d) Control Center Germany

As a railway company specializing in freight transport, we are looking for new employees for dispatching in Cologne for immediate start.

Activities

• Scheduling and monitoring of freight trains in national and international traffic during ongoing operations
• Organization and coordination of track allocation orders as well as short-term adjustments in day-to-day operations.
• Controlling operational processes in close coordination with train drivers, internal departments and external partners.
• Analysis and handling of disruptions, delays and irregularities in the sense of efficient troubleshooting.
• Ensuring a smooth flow of information through data collection, system maintenance, and targeted dissemination of relevant operational information.
• Creation and maintenance of operational documents, in particular vehicle lists and operational data
• Coordination of service providers and processing of damaged vehicle and malfunction reports.
• Support with operational personnel planning within the framework of scheduling
• Independent decision-making to stabilize and ensure safe operations.
• Documentation and tracking of operational events and deviations

Requirements

• Completed training (journeyman's examination/IHK/HWK qualification, Abitur, university)
• At least 2 years of professional experience in railway dispatch
• Willingness to work shifts (night, Sunday and holiday work)
• very high sense of responsibility, reliability and care
• readiness for further training
• impeccable reputation
• very good German in speech and writing

The gross salary, based on full-time employment, is between €4.000,00 and €5.000,00 per month with 13 salaries annually.
With appropriate experience and qualifications, we are of course willing to pay more.
