Energy Efficiency Business Developer (f/m/d)

As an Energy Efficiency Business Developer at GO2 Markets, you will be at the forefront of the energy efficiency market in Spain, connecting with corporations, driving impactful projects, and promoting innovative, sustainable energy solutions. As a trusted internal advisor and subject matter expert, you will empower our team to navigate and shape a rapidly evolving sector. This is a full-time position, offered remotely in Spain, ideally based in Barcelona, with the earliest possible starting date.

Your responsibilities at G02 Markets

• You will identify new business opportunities in the field of energy efficiency across Spain, with a focus on high-impact and scalable solutions generating energy saving certificates (CAE).
• You will assess the feasibility of projects for the issuance of energy saving certificates (CAE), working closely with the operational team to ensure technical and regulatory alignment.
• You will collaborate in shaping and executing GO2 Markets’ commercial strategy for the energy efficiency sector in Spain, contributing to short-term and long-term business growth.
• Ideally, you already have a strong network-or you’re eager and able to build and cultivate one-of industry contacts, partners, and key stakeholders within the Spanish energy efficiency ecosystem.
• You will actively represent GO2 Markets at industry platforms, conferences, and events to promote our services, including Guarantees of Origin (GO), biogas, and other sustainability solutions, enhancing our visibility, attracting new clients, and positioning us as a preferred partner in the energy sector.

Your Profile

• You have 5+ years of experience in sales, trading, consulting, or a related field within the energy sector, with a strong track record of successfully closing business.
• You have an educational background in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, Management, or a related discipline.
• You are a native Spanish speaker with business-proficient English; additional Catalan language skills are a plus.
• Your technical expertise enables you to confidently advise both internal and external stakeholders on energy efficiency solutions, including energy savings and renewable products.
• You are an excellent communicator, skilled at building strong, trust-based relationships, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• You are a creative problem-solver and empathetic listener, with the ability to align customer needs with effective, tailored solutions.
• You are highly self-motivated and thrive in an autonomous remote work environment in Spain, while also valuing teamwork and collaborative success.
