Junior consultant

As a (Senior) AWS Cloud Consultant at tecRacer, you play a key role in guiding our customers on their cloud journey - from architecture to automation, from security to transformation. You work closely with customers, colleagues, and partners to deliver meaningful AWS-based solutions. You are not only technically skilled, but also a trusted advisor, a mentor to junior consultants, and someone who keeps the bigger picture in mind.

Tasks

• Lead SAP-to-AWS migration projects from assessment and design through execution and cutover.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into SAP-ready AWS landing zones and infrastructure.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized architectures for SAP workloads on AWS (including SAP HANA, S/4HANA, NetWeaver).
• Coordinate SAP workload provisioning, integration with databases, storage, backup, and networking components.
• Work closely with SAP Basis teams, application specialists, AWS account teams, and customer stakeholders.
• Implement automation and IaC concepts to standardize deployments (Terraform, CDK, automated build pipelines).
• Support presales activities: qualify opportunities, design high-level migration plans, build proposals, conduct workshops.
• Act as trusted advisor: enable customers to operate SAP workloads efficiently on AWS, including cost transparency (FinOps), monitoring, HA/DR, and operational readiness.
• Communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and business stakeholders, including C-level.

Focus Area: SAP on AWS - Migration & Modernization

• Guide customers through SAP cloud transformation - from readiness checks and landscape assessment to go-live.
• Use AWS frameworks such as the SAP on AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), AWS Well-Architected (SAP lens), and Landing Zone patterns.
• Design high availability and disaster recovery concepts tailored for SAP workloads on AWS.
• Work on modernization strategies: SAP S/4HANA transformation (brownfield / greenfield)
• HANA on AWS - sizing, performance, storage optimization
• Integration with platform services (ECS/EKS, serverless, data lakes, analytics)

• Ensure governance, security, and compliance - up to regulated environments (Finance, Public Sector, Healthcare).
• Coordinate technical delivery across SAP Basis, infrastructure, security, network, and operations teams.
