What You’ll Drive
- Preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and individual financial statements in accordance with HGB, acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
- Evaluation and accounting of contracts and business transactions in line with IFRS and HGB, and implementation of policies into the group accounting manual.
- Creation of comprehensive memos and factsheets on complex accounting issues to ensure clarity and alignment across teams.
- Execution of the consolidation process for IFRS group reporting, including optimization of intercompany processes.
- Preparation of financial analyses and presentations for monthly and quarterly closings, focused on balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, and other key metrics.
- Development and implementation of improved processes within finance and accounting; active participation in cross-functional projects.
- Managing several Finance Managers within the Group.
Who We’re Looking For
- A finance professional with a background in business administration, with a clear focus on accounting, group reporting, or controlling.
- Solid professional experience in Finance & Accounting or from a top-tier (big 4) auditing firm.
- Deep understanding of IFRS and HGB accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills with solid insights into finance systems and processes, including confident use of MS Office.
- A self-driven, structured approach and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Fluency in both German and English (B2 or higher).
