OpenSynergy is an independently managed tech company based in Berlin. We develop embedded software for next-generation vehicles and industrial applications.

Marketing plays a key role in this next growth phase - and this is where you come in.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will take full ownership of our marketing activities and play a central role in shaping how OpenSynergy is perceived in the market.
This is a hands-on role in a lean setup - ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
You won’t step into a fully built structure. Instead, you will shape, build, and continuously improve our marketing approach, working closely with management, sales, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Positioning

  • Shape and refine our positioning across markets
  • Develop clear messaging, value propositions, and narratives
  • Create a consistent brand foundation (tone of voice, messaging, visual direction)
  • Ensure consistency across all channels and materials

2. Marketing Execution (Core Focus)

  • Plan and execute B2B marketing activities, mainly across digital channels
  • Own key channels such as LinkedIn, website, and email marketing
  • Create core content yourself (posts, messaging, presentations, website content)
  • Ensure consistent and effective execution across all touchpoints

3. Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

  • Translate product features into clear, customer-oriented value propositions
  • Support and drive go-to-market activities for new software products
  • Create sales enablement materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, use cases)
  • Adapt messaging for different target groups and product stages

4. External Partner Management

  • Identify when external expertise adds value (e.g. design, paid media, content scaling, technical topics)
  • Brief and guide external partners effectively
  • Ensure quality and alignment with our positioning
  • Manage external contributions within realistic budget constraints

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, product management, and leadership
  • Align marketing activities with business goals
  • Help define priorities for event and trade show activities together with sales

6. Performance & Optimization

  • Track relevant KPIs (leads, engagement, conversion)
  • Continuously improve activities based on results and feedback
  • Focus on what drives real impact

Your profile

  • Around 5-10 years of experience in B2B marketing (ideally in tech/software)
  • Strong hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation
  • Solid understanding of positioning, messaging, and product marketing
  • Experience working with external partners or agencies
  • Strong communication skills in English
