Operations Manager (m/f/d)

More efficient power electronics are crucial for reducing harmful emissions through more efficient energy use and for increasing the cost-effectiveness of energy-intensive processes. Gallium oxide (Ga2O3) is currently the subject of intensive research and development in semiconductor power electronics. Its ultra-wide band gap enables an even more compact design and is therefore ideal for applications in power electronics.
NextGO Epi is hiring its first administrative member to oversee and optimize our daily business operations. In this role, you will be the gears that keep our company running smoothly, cross-functionally connecting departments to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The ideal candidate is a master problem-solver who can balance high-level strategic planning with hands-on execution. You know how to manage resources, improve processes, and lead teams to achieve collective goals.
The key responsibilities of the Operations Manager will include:

• Process Optimization: Evaluate, design, and implement efficient standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline workflow and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Sales, Tech) to align operational goals with overall business strategy.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers; negotiate contracts to secure the best rates and quality.
• Data Analysis: Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, using data to drive operational decisions.

The applicant must have the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency with operational software, including Project Management tools (Asana, Jira), ERP/CRM systems, and data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: A sharp analytical mind capable of making critical decisions under pressure.
