We are a beauty start-up founded in 2020 and located in the heart of Berlin. Our team is composed of over 90 brilliant human beings who came from all over the world to write Yepoda’s story actively.
We’re now looking for a People Operations Coordinator to help us stay organized, compliant, and people-focused as we continue to grow. In this role you will manage day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting payroll and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records (Personio), manage contract preparation, onboarding/offboarding processes, and ensure data accuracy in our HR systems.
- Payroll Support: Coordinate monthly payroll in collaboration with our external payroll provider, including processing relevant updates, handling benefits administration, reimbursements and ensuring accurate data handoff.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with German labor laws and company policies, maintain confidential HR files, and support audits when necessary.
- Employee Support: Act as a go-to person for employees on daily HR topics (e.g., leave, sick days, administration).
- Support Projects: Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects, including process improvements, culture initiatives, and internal communication efforts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR support or other relevant administrative role.
- Understanding of HR processes and familiarity with German labor and payroll regulations.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and German.
- Comfortable using HR tools and systems (e.g. Personio).
