Senior Data & Analytical Engineer

Your profile
Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable streaming data pipelines and infrastructure using Python and SQL.
- Work closely with our sustainability domain experts to ensure business logic is accurately reflected across data flows.
- Build and optimize pipelines using Apache Airflow, dbt, Snowflake with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Write robust SQL to extract, transform, validate, and reconcile data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Partner with data analysts and fellow engineers to ensure data is well-structured, discoverable, and fit for analytics and product use cases.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best-practice initiatives.
- Drive improvements in data quality, testing, monitoring, and observability across the platform.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, transformations, lineage, and business rules.
We would like to hear from you if you have…
- 5 - 10 years of experience as a Data Platform Engineer, Data or Analytical Engineer
- Strong craftsmanship in Python and SQL
- Experience owning/maintaining/improving analytical data modeling practices using tools like dbt
- Experience owning/maintaining/improving ETL processes,
- Very good database knowledge (database design and programming), e.g. PostgreSQL
What will make you stand out
- Familiarity with Microservice paradigms and related technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker and REST API’s
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka
- 1-2 years of hands-on production grade Snowflake experience including architecture design, query and cost monitoring and optimization
- Experience with development and deployment of machine learning and AI models
