Our client is a fast-growing company expanding across Europe. They specialize in the design of smart lockers (intelligent delivery lockers).
We are looking for a Smart Lockers Maintenance Technician based in Birmingham.
Sector: Mainly Brimingham but also regional (travel up to 200 km, with a maximum of 3 overnight stays per month).
As a Smart Lockers Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing our intelligent delivery lockers.
Your daily tasks:
- Carry out mechanical and low-voltage electrical repairs on smart locker units on-site (using a car or van).
- Troubleshoot issues and conduct functional testing on units.
- Replace and test electronic components using technical documentation.
- Document interventions and prepare detailed reports.
- Travel to client sites based on SLAs for reactive maintenance and support.
- Assist with new installations, locker deployment, cable routing, and inventory organization.
- Follow safety protocols and complete regular technical training.

Requirements

- Must have valid work authorisation for the UK - sponsorship is not available.
- Must hold a valid UK / EU driver’s licence.
- Versatile skills in electricity and mechanics.
- Experience in troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Knowledge of maintenance management software (CMMS or MMS) is a plus.
- Ability to write precise intervention reports.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- A technical diploma or certification in a related field is appreciated.
Working conditions:
- Permanent contract
- Competitive salary up to £30/35,000 plus bonus.
