Would you like to join a dynamic and successful Business Intelligence department in Europe's leading cloud provider? We are an internal BI service provider for the technology division of IONOS and are looking for reinforcement in the area of software development and architecture. Your tasks will include supporting our colleagues in the provision and processing of data on our BI platform as well as expanding our technological landscape with new innovative tools.

Tasks

You will be responsible for the robust and maintainable architecture and design of our future BI platform and upcoming software projects.
You enjoy new technologies, evaluate modern BI tools according to our requirements and thus support the expansion of our technological platform.
You guide colleagues in the implementation of architecture and design decisions and implement them together with them in new software components.
Preparation of cost estimates and technical project management of central projects.
Technical management of project groups.
We offer 2 locations you can choose: Berlin or Karlsruhe.
Qualifications
You have years of experience in complex BI environments and are familiar with the basic principles of data preparation and data analysis? You can develop software professionally and are also interested in software and platform architecture? Do you enjoy new technologies and are you a real team player? Several years of experience in software development in the field of BI, preferably with the programming language Python or Java.
Knowledge of various BI tools, databases, cloud technologies and other relevant technologies in this environment, such as Airflow, Kubernetes, Trino, Kafka, etc.
Ability to analyse complex systems and identify optimisation opportunities.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with different departments and stakeholders.
Willingness to explore new technologies and implement innovative solutions.
Ability to prioritise correctly and sense of the right balance between pragmatism and perfectionism.
Team-orientated approach and the ability to train and support staff.
