Train driver (m/f/d) Germany

As a young and dynamic company in Germany, we are looking for our parent company DPB Rail Infra Service GmbH to join immediately Train driver (m/f/d) for the location Deutschland

Activities

• Driving freight trains in national and international traffic
• Compliance with safety regulations and transport regulations
• Documentation of the work carried out
• Collaboration with our scheduling team
• Carrying out brake tests and train preparations
• Carrying out checks and maintenance work on the locomotive

Requirements

• a completed vocational training as an EIB L/T or an equivalent training as a train driver in Germany
• Authorization to drive electric locomotives, ideally Vectron
• a valid Class B locomotive driver’s license (TfV)
• successfully completed training as a vehicle inspector G or level 1 and 2
• successfully completed training as a brake tester
• Suitability for operational service according to TfV
• German, spoken and written, minimum level B2
• Basic IT knowledge & willingness to continue training
• Willingness to travel for long-distance freight transport in Germany including rotating shifts.
• Driving license class B for cars is an advantage

We offer

• Monthly gross salary of € 3.985,00 - € 4.800,00 with 13 salaries per year, depending on professional experience
• Annual adjustment of the monthly gross salary based on average inflation in Germany
• Passenger journeys are paid 100%
• a permanent employment relationship
• 30 vacation days per year
• Surcharges on Sundays and public holidays: €6,50/hour.
• Surcharges at night: 25% between 20:00-06:00
• a BahnCard 100, 1nd class
• Location principle: Service begins at the nearest long-distance train station (IC/ICE/EC)
• Work clothes, company cell phone and company tablet
• modern workplace with its own brand new locomotives of the Vectron family BR193, BR247 and BR248

What we need from you:

• current CV
• Test certificate for locomotive driver's license
• valid locomotive driver's license
• Examination certificates for supplementary theory and practical certificates, at least for class B2 (freight transport)
• any further evidence of qualifications
