Your tasks
As our Event Manager Intern, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of diverse events designed to empower and connect our teaching and learning community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and organize local events in Berlin and online, such as: Community gatherings, Career networking events, Educational workshops
- Co-plan and organize our end of semester Demo Day Event with partners in Berlin
- Event promotion and outreach
- Coordinate logistics (venue, catering, tech setup, registration, follow-ups, feedback collection)
- Engage with participants and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience
- Support the team with, when needed, with: student management and recruitment-related activities
Your profile
- You are a motivated team player who takes initiative and thrives on making things happen. The ideal candidate will bring:
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination
- A hands-on attitude and ability to self-organise
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and spoken (English required)
- Moderation skills
- A passion for people, learning, and community-driven work
- Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Canva, Eventbrite, or Asana / Trello is a plus
